This full bodied acoustic-electric guitar produces rich tones that are backed by plenty of big body volume and a potent bottom end. Sierra's Tahoe Guitar series features instruments with a larger lower bout and a slightly rounded back. Add to that the top notch hand-crafting of spruce and maple woods, and this acoustic-electric guitar provides strong and vibrant sounds along with clarity and great sustain. The Venetian cutaway style body on this guitar makes upper register work a breeze while presenting a classic look. Add to that the onboard Barcus Berry electronics, and you end up with pure amplified sound as well as an absolutely amazing stage presence.

The Sierra SJS98CE features a solid Engelmann spruce top that sits on beautiful flamed maple back and sides. The back is slightly arched (like on a Jazz style archtop guitar), which helps to provide deeper tones and outstanding resonance. A maple neck that has mahogany reinforcing layers is set into the guitar's body using a dovetail neck joint. This traditional feature provides a firmly attached neck that allows for enhanced sustain, as well. The distinctive Sierra Guitars headstock features gold ComfortGrip™ die-cast tuners and a stylish logo.
